My husband wanted coffee and a good piece of bread. I just wanted to tag along. After circling Palmer Square, we rounded back to Chez Alice. They had an interesting menu board as far as salads & sandwiches go, but why eat those when you can have delectable sweets? He had an almond croissant with a latte, I had a pecan tart with a white hot chocolate. And inside the pecan tart were dried cranberry surprises!
I didn't like the decor too much though, with the green marble table tops and blond wood, and different seating heights. I wasn't sure if they were going for cozy or eclectic or wifi bar...
